Perfume notes — Fougere
"Fougere" from French means "fern". 1882 can be called the birthday of fougere fragrances because fern was very loved by royals at that time.
The unusual fragrances smelled like lavender, oakmoss, vanilla and bergamot. A dry, plant-based tone that the French perfumers called "la fougere".
Nowadays, most perfumes labeled for men are fougere, although they were never conceived as exclusively masculine.
