Provitamin D (7-Dehydrocholesterol)

This active ingredient is the most important molecule in the synthesis of vitamin D. 7-Dehydrocholesterol is naturally present in the stratum spinosum and stratum basale of the epidermis as a precursor of Vitamin D. Under the influence of sunlight 7-dehydrocholesterol in the epidermis is converted to vitamin D3.

Phospholipids

Major building components in the structure of any cellular membrane essential for all vital physiological processes. These natural skin- identical ingredients demonstrate moisturizing, restructuring and protective properties.

Sterol complex

A blend of vegetable-derived esters structurally similar to skin lipids. Demonstrates moisturizing, conditioning, and repairing properties. Reinforces skin barrier function.

Sphingolipids
