Dr Marko Lens develops a unique plant-derived triterpenoid regenerative complex called "3t Complex" containing a plant-derived ursolic acid (triterpenoid), active molecules extracted from 15 precious plants, 5 sea algae and 7 herbal oils.

Ursolic acid

A triterpenoid, naturally occurring molecule synthesised in plants. Ursolic acid demonstrates multiple activities: anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antioxidant, inhibition of collagen degradation (by inhibiting the expression of MMP9), stimulation of collagen synthesis, recovery of epidermal barrier function, increase of ceramide content in the skin and stimulation of proliferation of epidermal cells called keratinocytes. Clinical results showed that ursolic acid effectively reduces the appearance of wrinkles and helps promote skin firmness and elasticity.

Regenerative

This proprietary complex contains active molecules extracted from 15 plants with regenerative properties: Ginkgo, Ginseng root, Witch hazel. Acerola, Grape vine, Horse-Chestnut, Papaya fruit, Apple fruit, Winter cherry fruit, Mimosa, Lichwort, Rock fennel, Immortelle flower, Lemon balm leaf and Olive leaf. Algae complex

Herbal oils

A blend of 7 oils: Borage Seed Oil, Hazel Seed Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil. Wheat Germ Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Jojoba Oil.

Other Ingredients

Rice powder: Used since the 16th century by Japanese Geishas to improve their skin appearance and achieve flawlessly silky, porcelain complexions. Rice powder has excellent emollient properties that help to maintain soft, smooth, and supple skin. When applied to the skin, it absorbs excess oil and minimises the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and blemishes.

Commiphora mukul (Guggul): Commiphora mukul is a tree that produces a resin known as Bdellium. An active ingredient extracted from this resin increases lipid storage in cells and thus helps to plump the skin and maintain its tonicity.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol): An antioxidant with a key role in the protection of cellular membranes from damaging free radicals. Vitamin E is the major antioxidant in the epidermis with strong protective effects.

Hyaluronic acid: An important natural component of skin. Zelens uses a low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid with unique moisturising properties. Hyaluronic acid boosts skin moisture, promotes skin elasticity and fills in wrinkles to help reduce their appearance.
