Lip glaze contains 11 active ingredients.

Volulip™: A combination of a high-performance tripeptide and a botanical extract- Portulaca Pilosa (Kiss me quick). By boosting hyaluronic acid synthesis, Volulip improves superficial and internal texture with a visible impact on the lip shape. Increases lip volume, hydration, and softness.

Tripeptide: This potent peptide stimulates natural collagen production. It activates Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF), one of key players in modulating tissue repair and remodelling.

Hyaluronic acid: A key component of connective tissue. Zelens uses a low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid to restore moisture and plump lips.

Phospholipids: Major building components in the structure of any cellular membrane essential for all vital physiological processes. These natural skin-identical ingredients demonstrate moisturizing, restructuring and protective properties.

Yeast: A natural extract from the live yeast cells (Saccharomyces Cerevisiae). Increases cell respiration and metabolism, stimulates oxygen consumption, and helps tissue repair and wound healing. Demonstrates anti-inflammatory and protective properties.

Shea Butter: A natural lipid extracted from the seeds of Shea tree or Karite’ (Butyrospermum Parkii). Shea butter has remarkable moisturizing, softening, smoothing, and restructuring properties.

Shiso leaf (Perilla, Japanese mint): Rich in polyphenols (particularly Rosmarinic acid) and triterpenoids (particularly Ursolic acid), natural molecules that demonstrate antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic bioactivities. Shiso leaf acts as a powerful antioxidant defending skin from free radical damage. It helps to prevent skin reactivity and soothes sensitive skin. Shiso leaf is well-known in Kampo medicine for its strong detox properties.

Fruit ester: A naturally derived fruit acid ester. Demonstrates excellent emollient properties that facilitate spreadability on the lips while adding gloss and sheen.

Chondroitin sulfate: A natural molecule present in connective tissue cross-linking with the collagen. Demonstrates firming properties to give the matrix a distinct 3D structure.

Vitamin E: An antioxidant with a key role in the protection of cellular membranes from free radicals. It is the major antioxidant in the human epidermis with strong protective effects against UV-induced skin damage.
