Tom of Finland is more than just a scent. It’s a part of modern Finnish art and a worldwide gay legacy. Tom of Finland is a pseudonym of a Finnish illustrator Touko Valio Laaksonen. Touko got his fame as he started to draw homoerotic images. Most of his drawings were about police officers, military men, and prisoners. All of them were dedicated to the passion and love between these men. Strong, courageous, and brutal man. He made a revolutionary influence on late twentieth century gay culture. In 2007 Etat Libre D`Orange created a scent called “Tom of Finland” and dedicated it to Touko. It is a tribute to tomorrow's glorious possibilities. Aromatic, woody and leatherish. Notes of: Aldehydes, Lemon, Birch Leaves, Pine, Safraleine, Pepper, Cypress, Geranium, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Orris, Vetiver, Suede, Musk, Ambergris.
