Pink pepper has an amazing aroma of young wood and sweet fruit. It is warm and cool at the same time. Most often, pink pepper is used in floral-fruity perfumes, where a spicy note is needed.
It is obtained from the fruits of an exotic pepper tree in South America. Interestingly, the bark of the plant exudes the same pleasant aroma as the fruit.
Pink pepper is not related to other peppers, strictly speaking, actually, its relatives are cashew nuts and pistachios.
The scent of pink pepper is combined with the notes of cloves, nutmeg, black pepper and moss. You can meet it in both men's and women's fragrances. Traditionally, notes of pink pepper are included at the top of the perfume pyramid.
