‘NUN’ by Laboratorio Olfattivo
Created by the master perfumer Luca Maffei, ‘Nun’ is a beautiful and mysterious fragrance.
Combining classical tradition with progressive innovation, Luca has composed more than 50 ingenious scents for the last five years.
Inspiration for the ‘Nun’ came from his enchantment with the mythology of Ancient Egypt. The lotus flower - the blue water lily - the Egyptian lotus, it arose from the primal waters at the creation of the world, bringing the first sunlight and metamorphosing into the precious child of gods.
Luca says that ‘Nun’ has been likewise created from the precious lotus. The name itself alludes to God of Waters - the keeper of Ancient Egypt’s deepest mystery.
Iridescent citrus freshness of bergamot and lemon, juicy honey pear and floral notes of neroli embrace your senses from the start. The heart reveals delightfully sweet white lotus accentuated by tangy notes of white jasmine and warm florals of ylang-ylang. A soft and creamy palette of light precious woods, highlighted by subtle tints of amber with flashes of warm musk, complements the scent’s harmony to perfection.
