To produce a bottle of quality perfume takes much more effort and investment than we can imagine, seeing that amazing product on the glam display in your favorite boutique.
Using costly natural materials is extremely beneficial for the customer but the price some ingredients fetch in the market are extreme. Take ambergris for example - a single kilogram is worth over 40K US dollars. And sourcing it in nature next time cannot be really planned. Ambergris is produced by sealife and washed to the shore from time to time. Add all the time and hard work taking refining and distilling processes, blending and matching the formula, and you realize why it is not that affordable.
But there is so much more of course that goes on behind the scenes.
There are only a handful of brands that can afford natural materials. And you know ‘why’!
And what about those tiny sweet collectibles that we treasure so much? Who doesn’t like a crystal bottle with a heavy cap and that lovely essence (or is it a memory?) still lingering inside. Yes, a work of art!
By purchaising a fragrance we purchaice a surtain life-style.
