She was born in Paris and for a long as she can remember herself, Sidonie has always associated fragrance with a place, a person, or some moments in her life. Since childhood she had a burning desire to learn how to materialize her emotions and memories, that's why Sidonie chose the profession of a perfumer. Sidonie received her education at the International Institute of Perfumes, Cosmetics and Fragrances ISIPCA. After graduation she went to Grasse and got a job as an perfumer assistant.
Lancesseur was very lucky with her mentor - Michel Almarac. He shared his experience and tought her how to love short modern formulas, where each component has its own meaning. Sidonie loves woody notes: patchouli, papyrus, vetiver - because they remind of her childhood that she had spent in a country house. She likes strong undertones, like ambery accords and finds inspiration in everything that surrounds her: a glass of wine, the smell of cigars, books.
